Donna Wright has been a practising visual artist and a practice-led researcher for over twenty five years. She has been the recipient of national and international art and research grants including Arts Queensland Individual Artists' Grants, and residencies at the Centre International d’Accueil et d'Echanges des Récollets in Paris. For over two decades, Donna’s art practice has explored the impacts of cultural memory, its residues and movements across generations, the part it plays in evoking feelings of longing, belonging and reconnection, and its aesthetic influences on the way we perceive, shape and engage in the world around us.
